Holmegaard redesign
I've recently had the pleasure of redesigning the identity of renowned Danish glassware producer Holmegaard. Holmegaard has been producing top of the line glassware since 1825, when the company was established by Countess Henriette Danneskiold-Samsøe, seen here to the left. In recent years they've done a growing amount of collaborations with up-coming architects and designers, and while their product line had grown a bigger appeal for younger generations the identity and packaging was lacking behind.Countess Henriette Danneskiold-Samsøe
Old logo to the left | New logo to the right.
The new logo consists of a custom drawn DTL Documenta, as well as a customized Gotham. The biggest difference from the old version is that it's lost the red background, going for a lighter more transparent and "glasslike" appearance. As well as updating the logo, I've re-done the crown for greater clarity and modernity and reintroduced and updated the old swan logo for their mouth-blown collection.
