Logo redesign for the Jurisprudence Discussion Group of Copenhagen. With over 100 years of existence the logo needed to maintain a feeling of tradition, while gaining a more contemporary visual expression than the previous version. Furthermore, the logo had become a generic icon as the sword and jurisprudence symbol have been used in conjunction for publishers and other groups in the field. Therefore I found a new way to combine the two, that set it apart from its visual competitors and created a stronger connection between the two elements at the same time.
